The Robin's Nest Soaps

In the picture above I am getting ready to freeze the goat milk.  Goat milk has to be frozen before the lye is added to prevent scorching the milk.

 

Last week was a very busy week at The Nest!  I made a trip to Amish Country to meet my new supplier of raw goat's milk.  It was a lovely day for a drive and I greatly enjoyed meeting Lillian.  I look forward to going back when I need to restock my goat milk supply.
