New year, new things. I've been working on something special behind the scenes, and I'm happy to finally share it with you!

Starting next Friday, I'm beginning a brand‑new weekly series called FAQ FRIDAY — a cozy, educational corner of my page where I’ll answer your most common questions about my handmade soaps and my hand‑crocheted cotton soap savers.

Every Friday, you’ll see a new question featured, and I’ll share the answer in the caption — simple, honest, and straight from The Nest.

Here’s a peek at some of the questions coming your way:

A Note To My Customers, Goodbye 2025

 

Behind The Scenes

Here's a view from inside The Nest on this snowy day here in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. It is cold outside, but The Nest is nice and warm with the wood pellet stove burning. It's a perfect day to cut some soap! This is a new recipe. Well, it's actually my same wonderful recipe...I just replaced the palm oil with beef tallow after reading about its benefits. I rendered some beef tallow earlier this year. So, I decided to experiment. I am excited to try it!

A Perfect Scent for Winter

Chase away the winter blues with this fun scent! It's a cheerful, festive blend of crisp apples wrapped in warm, candied deliciousness. Available online here, and for a limited time, locally at the Community Arts Center of Cambria County, Johnstown, PA.
